Scheduling the Wedding Weddings may be scheduled on weekdays or week nights or on Saturdays. No evening weddings are permitted on the 2nd or 4th Saturdays, since there is a Spanish Mass at 7:00 p.m. on those days. During the summer (April 1 to October 31), weddings may be scheduled on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., or at 7:30 p.m. During the winter (November 1 to March 31), weddings may be scheduled on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., or after 6:00 p.m. Nuptial Masses (those weddings that include the liturgy of the Eucharist and a sharing in communion) are not permitted Saturday evenings. Nuptial Masses are strongly discouraged in the case of mixed-faith weddings.
