The
Bosnia Goat Club
Will be our highlighted Ministry for the forth quarter of this year.
Saint
Rita Goat, Sheep and Bee Club provides
assistance to
refugee families in Bosnia. Goats given to families create a much needed source of income,milk and cheese.
As goats multiply they become
flocks and can be traded for food or other material needs and necessities.

Knights of Columbus News
Installation
of Officers - Dinner will be held at
the Lighthouse
Restaurant in , Destin Tuesday Oct.
14th at 6:30 pm
"The Joyful Noise"..
Their premier performance was at the 10 o'clock Mass
Sunday September
7 th. where they sang was "Jesus Loves Me". It was
Awesome, A special thanks to the music director Kitty
Boe for her persistence
to form this group and work with these girls, Lana
Winjam, Samantha Savoie, Emma Savoie,Elizabeth Savoie,
Addie Winjam, and Claire Hooks.

Miranda & Father Tom
Miranda is a big Father Tom Fan, She is the first out
and runs to give Father Tom a big greeting after the
5:30 Mass on Most Saturday's.

planning to hold our 10th Annual Knights of Columbus
Golf Tournament on
11-02-08 at the Adara Golf Course.

St. Rita Sewing Group
The St. Rita Sewing Group has been asked to
make baby quilts, knitted, crocheted or fabric for the
new Sacred Heart Hospital Maternity Wing and Nursery
which will open in the Fall. We have the supplies if
you would like to work on a quilt at home. If you can
help, please join us on Wednesdays at 9:00 am in the
Mary Star of the Sea Room.

Who’s involved?
Saint Rita Saints grades
6-12.
What’s happening?
Saint teams produce Independent
films:
CATEGORIES
Five minute films for 6-7-8; Ten minute films for
9-10-11-12; Three minute shorts for small producers
6-12.
When? Production begins in the
fall. Where? On location anywhere.
Why?
God made us creative; we want to spread the WORD! Help
us compete in the film festival, win prizes and hang out
with our friends. It won’t happen without YOUR
support !!! We need at least four video cameras
in good shape with all the stuff that comes with them.
Do you have a video camera gathering dust you can
donate to Religious Ed for the next 100 years? If yes,
take the camera to the Ed Office with your name on it
and we’ll love ya’ forever! Please pass this on to your
friends:) Tank ewe!
